​Conservation Opportunities Activities

Sea Turtle Conservation Project in Oaxaca, Mexico

On this 10-day trip to Escobilla Beach in Oaxaca, students work side-by-side with Mexcian Biologists to assist in research and conservation projects. The trip is usually held the first week in December. ​

Ecology project international

Ecology Project International (EPI) is a nonprofit, educational organization that offers service-learning trips, including winter and summer ecology courses in Yellowstone National Park. Conservation Opportunities, Inc. provides scholarships to active members of the Environmental Club to participate in EPI trips.

Phillips Farm County Park Projects

​Students participate in many habitat improvement projects at the Phillips Farm County Park, located 5 miles north of Moscow on Highway 95.  Projects include wetlands restoration, an heirloom orchard, and monitoring of birds and amphibians.

Fundraising Activities

Fundraisers are a cooperative effort between Conservation Oppotunities and the Moscow High School Environmental Club. These include: the Renaissance Fair Nessie Ear booth, fund runs, yard work, and the Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse.
